Drone Detector
Drone Detector is an electronic device used to detect the presence of recreational and commercial drones. The device is manufactured by Drone Labs, an American-based company that owns the trademark to the name.
==History==
Drone Detector is manufactured by Drone Labs, a technology company based in Austin, Texas. Drone Labs was founded in 2014 by Zain Naboulsi and Philip Wheat. Both were Microsoft veterans prior to starting the venture. During a discussion about drones, Naboulsi and Wheat concluded that drones would in some way affect every industry. They initially came up with a concept to manufacture drones for use in agriculture.〔 It was after hearing a story about a paparazzi-type drone invasion, came up with the idea to detect drones to help keep people from using them for unintended purposes.〔
Drone Detector became the company's flagship product. It has since been manufactured for personal, commercial, and government use by clients both in the United States and internationally.
